Edgar Morin, Humberto Maturana, Ximena Dávila, and Basarab Nicolescu --distinguished researchers on advanced avenues of the scientific research and contemporary philosophical and social thought --, have confirmed their participation in the International Congress on Complex Thought to be held in Hermosillo, Sonora, México, from October 22 to 24, 2008.

The keynote lectures will be one hour in length, followed by a one-hour dialogue with the audience about the problematics addressed. They will be offered in plenary sessions and the work of committees will start, where the panels, oral presentations and posters will materialize the exchange between all delegates and guests at the congress.
