At the working meeting of the International Congress of Complex Thinking
Organizing Committee held at the Aula Magna of CESUES on April 22nd, 2008,
it was announced that Humberto Maturana and Ximena Dávila, co-founders of
Instituto Matríztico, will deliver one of the three keynote lectures that
will be developed within the framework of the event.

The lecture will be about the biological-cultural bases of human existence
and will represent an invitation to the dialogue of knowledge and meditation
about the change of the psychic/cultural age now showing distinctive signs
in the entire planet.

The lecture will be held in the session of October 22nd, 2008. Later on, you
will be notified about the length and schedule as the program of the event
is established over the next months.

Edgar Morin and Basarab Nicolescu had been previously confirmed as keynote
lecturers at the Congress.

The presence of these important personalities, representative of cultural
biology, complex thought and transdiscipline, augurs an intense and fruitful
academic and human exchange.
